Job Title Accounting Specialist

Location Carrollton, TX | Onsite

Compensation & Schedule
• $19.50–$22.50 per hour
• Full-time; standard business hours
• W2 employment

Role Impact
The Accounting Specialist ensures the accurate and timely movement of financial assets and processes through established workflows to completion. Success in this role means maintaining data accuracy, resolving issues efficiently, and supporting compliance with HOA, tax, and regulatory requirements. This position supports operational continuity by managing high-volume task queues while delivering responsive service to clients and vendors.

• Key Responsibilities
• Manage assigned portfolios, tasks, or case queues through to completion within established timelines
• Review, validate, and process required documentation related to HOA dues, tax assessments, and asset clearance requirements
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local governance regulations and required codes impacting client portfolios
• Respond to client, vendor, or customer inquiries via phone, email, portal, or fax with professional customer service
• Escalate issues to appropriate departments or supervisors and update internal and client systems accurately

• Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred
• 2–3 years of experience in accounting support, financial services, mortgage servicing, real estate, HOA processing, or customer service
• Working knowledge of HOA regulations, required documentation for clearing dues and tax assessments, and ability to conduct online research

• Core Tools & Systems
• Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word
• PDF exchange and document management systems
• Client-specific software platforms and internal workflow systems
• Internet Explorer and web-based research tools
• Client relationship management (CRM) systems and customer portals

Preferred Skills
• Experience working in mortgage servicing or financial services environments
• Ability to train clients, vendors, or internal users on processes and procedures
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
