We are looking for a dynamic, motivated, creative and thoughtful full-time or part-time art teacher for kindergarten through 12th grade students.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate visual arts instruction for students in grades K–12.
• Design curriculum that builds artistic skills, creativity, and appreciation for the visual arts across all grade levels.
• Introduce students to a wide range of artistic techniques, media, styles, and art history.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of students.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and organized classroom environment that encourages creativity and collaboration.
• Assess student learning.
• Maintain art supplies, equipment, and studio space.
• Participate actively in faculty meetings, professional development, and other events.

Qualifications: 

• Experience teaching visual arts in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings.
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Valid Michigan teaching certification preferred.
