Job Description

As a ConstructionProject Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the execution of awarded projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of assigned landscape construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
  • Track estimated versus actual costs and make decisions to help reduce cost.
  • Price and process change orders that arise during the construction process.
  • Oversee material procurement and delivery logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.
  • Conduct daily site visits to inspect quality and progress, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and safety protocols.
  • Participate in weekly meetings with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to coordinate project activities.
  • Communicate proactively with general contractors, design teams, owners, and developers to provide updates and address potential issues.
  • Participate in recruiting, training, and developing landscape construction technicians.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry materials, equipment, and best practices in landscape construction.
  • Promote a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with all on-site protocols, training, and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

  • 2 years minimum of commercial construction management experience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with project scheduling, budgeting, and tracking labor hours.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • Proficiency in English; Spanish language skills are a plus.
