Competition Groom / Rider – Aiken, South Carolina
Golden Carriage Driving is looking for a motivated Competition Groom / Rider to join our professional combined driving program in the Aiken/Windsor, SC area.
This is a hands-on position with lots of riding opportunity. A big part of the job will be riding, exercising and helping produce competition, young and sale horses.
Duties include:
Daily horse care and barn work Grooming, clipping and show preparation Regular riding and conditioning Helping produce sale horses Assisting with harnessing and driving Traveling to competitions Previous driving experience is not required. We would love someone from an eventing, dressage, jumping or sport-horse background who is interested in learning to drive.
For the right person, there are opportunities to ride, learn to drive, compete, travel and potentially spend part of the summer season in Europe.
Looking for someone reliable, hardworking, confident around sport horses and excited to be part of a competitive program.
Full-time or part time . Compensation based on experience.
