CABBINET ASSEMBLER - IMMEDIATE HIRING!

Location : Everett, Washington

Experience Level: Entry Level

Shift Timing: 6:00AM - 2:30PM | Mon - Fri

Pay Rate : $22 - $24/ hr

Job Description

The Cabinet Assembler builds and assembles cabinets and related sub-assemblies using hand and power tools, following diagrams, blueprints, and written instructions. This role performs repetitive production tasks, completes required documentation to ensure quality and traceability, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives on the assembly line.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble cabinets and sub-assemblies accurately using point-to-point electrical diagrams, blueprints, and written or bullet point instructions.
  • Perform repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining consistent quality and productivity standards.
  • Use powered and non-powered hand tools such as screwdrivers, wire cutters, crimpers, wrenches, drills, and shears in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Interpret available information to determine correct assembly steps, component orientation, and sequence of operations.
  • Complete documentation and production records as required to track work output, verify quality, and support traceability.
  • Measure and verify components and assemblies using a measuring tape and other basic measuring tools to ensure accuracy.
  • Lift, position, and handle materials and components weighing up to 30 lbs as needed during the assembly process.
  • Work in various body positions, including bending, stooping, and reaching, to complete assembly tasks at the workstation.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to improve processes, quality, and efficiency.
  • Perform warehouse packing or related general labor tasks associated with completed cabinets when required.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned to support production and team goals.

Essential Skills

  • Proven ability to use hand and power tools, including screwdrivers, wire cutters, crimpers, wrenches, drills, and shears.
  • Ability to read and interpret point-to-point electrical diagrams, blueprints, and written instructions.
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand how parts fit and work together in an assembly.
  • Ability to use a measuring tape accurately to verify dimensions and ensure proper fit of components.
  • Capability to lift and handle up to 30 lbs safely as part of routine job duties.
  • Comfort working in awkward body positions, including bending, stooping, and reaching, at an assembly station.
  • Good attitude and a positive, cooperative approach to work and teamwork.
  • Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination for detailed assembly work.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new tasks, tools, and processes.
  • Reliability and consistency in performing repetitive tasks while maintaining quality.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in assembly, general labor, or warehouse packing environments.
  • Prior experience working with blueprints or electrical diagrams in a manufacturing or production setting.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement concepts and a willingness to contribute ideas for process enhancements.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Ability to adapt to different workstation setups and tasks as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
