Job Responsibilities :
  • Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality clinical care delivery.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor clinical protocols and best practices.
  • Coordinate team meetings to optimize patient care plans.
  • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for clinical staff.
  • Collaborate with leadership to support strategic goals and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Manage resource allocation and clinical workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Facilitate communication between all departments.
  • Identify and address clinical risk factors to improve patient safety.
  • Perform routine laboratory tests and collect specimens as instructed.
  • Administer medications and injections.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and documentation.
  • Maintain nursing stations and examination areas in a manner consistent with OSHA standards.
  • Exhibits a high degree of courtesy and poise when interacting with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Perform X-Ray and EKGs
  • Assist Occupational Medicine staff with as needed.
  • Performs other related duties assigned by management.
 

Minimum Qualifications: 


High school diploma or GED AND 1-2 years of related experience in a medical setting. Must obtain and maintain BLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

 
  • Experience as a Medical Assistant 
  • Strong knowledge of clinical governance, quality assurance, and patient safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Proficiency in clinical information systems and healthcare technology.
  • Demonstrated experience in team management and staff development.
  • Current professional registration and licensure as required.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
  • Frequently required to walk, sit, and stand.
  • Occasionally exposed to bloodborne and airborne pathogens or infectious materials
  • Occasionally required to travel for training purposes and attend at least two community clinic events each year.
