Job Description

**Job-Specific Duties:**

The responsibilities associated with this position may include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Engage in practice in accordance with the regulations set forth by the state licensing board, the Ethical Principles and Code of Conduct established by the American Psychological Association, and the privileges granted by the Military Treatment Facility (MTF).

- Conduct psychological evaluations by utilizing data obtained from clinical interviews, psychological testing, and, where appropriate, collateral sources.

- Establish psychiatric diagnoses in alignment with the criteria outlined in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders published by the American Psychiatric Association.

- Provide psychological treatment for both individuals and groups, assisting medical and surgical patients in coping with illnesses or injuries.

- Contribute to the rehabilitation of patients.

**Work Schedule:**

The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, between the hours of 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with shifts lasting 8 to 10 hours, including an unpaid lunch period. There are no weekend, on-call, or holiday duties.

**Minimum Qualifications:** - 

**Education:** A Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from a program accredited by the American Psychological Association. - 

**Internship/Residency:** Successful completion of an internship in psychology that has been accredited by the American Psychological Association. - 

**Experience:** A minimum of one year of experience as a licensed clinical psychologist. -

**License:** An active, unrestricted license to practice as a Clinical Psychologist from any state. - 

**Life Support Certification:** Possession of a current Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC). -

**Security:** The ability to pass a government background check and obtain security clearance is required.
