Job Summary
Hitz Pub & Eatery is looking for reliable, friendly, and efficient Delivery Drivers to provide timely and professional food delivery service to our guests. Delivery Drivers ensure orders are accurate, transported safely, delivered promptly, and handed off with excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
Deliver food orders safely and efficiently to guests
Verify all delivery orders for accuracy before leaving the restaurant
Ensure food is transported securely and maintained at the proper temperature
Provide friendly and professional service during every delivery
Follow assigned delivery routes and use navigation tools efficiently
Communicate with the restaurant and guests regarding delays, order issues, or special instructions
Handle cash and electronic payments accurately when required
Assist with packaging, organizing, and preparing delivery and takeout orders
Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery equipment and designated work areas
Support front-of-house operations between deliveries as needed
Follow all traffic laws, restaurant policies, and food safety procedures
Maintain a professional appearance and represent Hitz Pub & Eatery positively in the community
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Reliable transportation and proof of valid auto insurance
Previous delivery, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Familiarity with the local delivery area preferred
Ability to safely transport and carry food orders
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
