Overview

As an Environmental, Health & Safety Manager, you will support Brightstar Lottery's environmental, health, safety, and regulatory compliance programs by providing governance, technical expertise, and independent oversight for a high-security printing and distribution operation. This role partners closely with site leadership to strengthen safety culture, reduce environmental risk, maintain regulatory compliance, support ISO management systems, and drive operational excellence. This role will be located onsite in Lakeland, Florida.

What You'll Do

  • Establish and maintain site-wide EHS programs, standards, and management systems aligned with OSHA, EPA, FDEP, and company requirements.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and hazard assessments while tracking corrective actions through completion.
  • Facilitate incident investigations, root cause analyses, and trend reporting to identify and mitigate risk.
  • Lead environmental compliance efforts, including permitting, regulatory reporting, recordkeeping, and agency communications.
  • Develop and manage EHS training strategies, compliance matrices, and role-based learning programs.
  • Partner with operations, maintenance, engineering, quality, and security teams to support safe and compliant manufacturing processes.
  • Direct emergency response preparedness, Emergency Response Team programs, drills, and incident command activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive EHS experience within manufacturing, printing, packaging, or similar industrial environments.
  • At least 3 years of leadership or management experience in an EHS function.
  • Demonstrated experience managing ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems and ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, FDEP, environmental permitting, compliance reporting, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience supporting hazardous materials management and regulated waste programs.
  • Proven ability to influence, coach, and develop leaders without direct operational authority.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English is required

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $60,989 - $200,500. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

 

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
