Under the direction of the EITS Application Technical leads and project leadership, this role is responsible for assessing the hardware, Tracking and helping manage deployment, print mapping, Technical Dress Rehearsal, to support the Epic deployment at Maimonides.
This role requires significant on-site presence and the ability to report to the office within 48 hours when needed.
An Epic Certification in any major module is required with a good understanding of printing and Epic end user hardware needs and related workflows
Key Responsibilities
Conduct future state walkthroughs with dept leads and stakeholders to develop hardware design and technical requirements.
Break down gathered information into detailed data sources, for deployment, purchasing and testing teams
Present concepts clearly and be able to explain technical design issues to non-technical audiences.
Design & build workstation and printer mapping in Epic
Co-ordinate between various IT teams to ensure deployment completion and TDR readiness
Create test plans (TDR) & technical documentation.
Track TDR progress, issues and followup with different teams for resolution.
Report out TDR progress and status to leadership.
Coordinate user groups, project teams and leadership, including scheduling meetings and managing minutes and follow-up activities.
Contribute effectively within a fast-paced team environment while collaborating across teams for deployment and testing
Work within timelines and resource constraints defined by the PMO.
Perform additional duties as required.
Maintain current Epic certification (current or one version prior).
Must be detail oriented, possessing strong written and verbal communication skills

Specialty certification(s) issued by a national commercially available program, state, professional society, academic or technical institution in an area(s) listed above, may be credited on a month-to-month basis toward the required work experience for a total of one year

Educational Level:
A Master's Degree or advanced clinical degree from an accredited college or university and two years of experience serving as a lead in soliciting, defining, and managing requirements for internally and externally developed software in a clinical, allied health, non-allied health, behavioral health, information technology, information services, business, analytics or related area: or, one year of experience in a relevant clinical and/or healthcare administration role/function; or
A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university and five years of experience as described above; or
A satisfactory combination of education, training, and experience.
