Job Description

Fitness Coach

DaVinci Center | Lancaster, PA

DaVinci is hiring a Fitness Coach to join our team at the DaVinci Center in Lancaster, PA.

This is more than a traditional personal training role. DaVinci is an integrated health, performance, recovery, and longevity company designed to help clients improve their health through coordinated fitness, recovery, wellness, and professional care.

As a Fitness Coach, you will help clients improve strength, mobility, conditioning, movement quality, body composition, confidence, and long-term physical capacity.

Responsibilities

  • Coach individual and small-group fitness sessions
  • Deliver structured strength, movement, mobility, conditioning, and recovery-based programming
  • Modify exercises based on client ability, goals, limitations, and established plans
  • Conduct basic fitness and movement assessments within your professional scope
  • Track progress and maintain accurate client notes
  • Help clients improve strength, balance, coordination, mobility, cardiovascular fitness, and overall physical capacity
  • Work with general fitness, weight-loss, active adult, older adult, and performance-focused clients
  • Support clients returning to exercise when appropriate and coordinate with licensed healthcare professionals when needed
  • Follow DaVinci programming standards and coaching systems
  • Communicate relevant client observations with the DaVinci team
  • Participate in ongoing education, team training, and professional development
  • Help create an exceptional client experience from start to finish

How DaVinci Works

DaVinci is not a traditional gym where each trainer operates independently.

Our clients are supported by a team. Fitness Coaches may work alongside physical therapists, massage therapists, chiropractors, acupuncturists, nutrition professionals, health coaches, and other providers when appropriate.

Your role is to become exceptional at coaching exercise, movement, and physical development while understanding when a client's needs should be referred to another professional.

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Professional, dependable, and punctual
  • Highly coachable and eager to learn
  • Excellent with people
  • Confident leading both individuals and small groups
  • Passionate about fitness, movement, health, recovery, and longevity
  • Comfortable working within a team-based environment
  • Able to follow systems and programming standards
  • Motivated to continue developing as a coach
  • Focused on helping clients become stronger, healthier, more capable, and more confident

Preferred Qualifications

  • Personal Training, Strength & Conditioning, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related education or certification
  • Nationally recognized personal training or fitness certification preferred
  • CPR/AED certification
  • Previous coaching or personal training experience preferred
  • Small-group training experience is a plus
  • Experience with older adults, weight-loss clients, mobility, corrective exercise, or post-rehabilitation populations is a plus

Exceptional candidates with strong coaching ability, professionalism, and the right attitude may still be considered even if they do not meet every preferred qualification.

Why DaVinci

DaVinci is building a model that connects fitness, recovery, health services, technology, and professional care into one coordinated experience.

This role is ideal for a coach who wants to do more than count reps and run workouts. We are looking for someone who wants to grow, develop deeper expertise, work alongside other professionals, and help build a higher standard of health and fitness coaching.

To Apply

Submit your resume along with a short introduction explaining why you would be a strong fit for DaVinci and the Fitness Coach position.
