QAD TR/X TMS Migration Consultant / Solution Specialist
Onsite - Nashville, TN Remote possible with exceptional skillset

MAX SUPPLIER BILL RATE $160-165/hr
Required Skills:
1. Strong hands on experience with QAD TR/X TMS. Prior experience with Blue Yonder (Blue Jay) TMS is highly preferred. Deep understanding of: Transportation planning & execution, Multi modal logistics (TL, LTL, parcel, ocean, air),Carrier rate management and freight costing
2. Migration Experience: Proven experience in TMS migration or replacement programs, Experience mapping legacy TMS processes to modern cloud TMS solutions
3. Technical Awareness (Functional Lead Level):Understanding of: EDI (204, 210, 214), APIs and event based integrations, Master data dependencies across ERP, WMS, and TMS
Years of Experience / Qualifications:
Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related field, 7 12+ years of transportation / TMS experience, Prior experience in global or regional logistics transformations preferred.
Nice to Have: Experience in manufacturing or industrial supply chains (e.g., Schneider like environments), Experience working in multi region deployments, Exposure to QAD ecosystem beyond TR/X (QAD ERP, DynaSys, etc.)

QAD TR/X TMS Migration Consultant / Solution Specialist
The QAD TR/X TMS Migration Consultant will be responsible for leading and executing the migration of transportation management capabilities from E2Open (Blue Jay) TMS to QAD TR/X TMS. The role requires strong functional expertise in transportation processes, hands-on QAD TR/X configuration knowledge, and experience with legacy TMS data and process migration.
Typical Deliverables: Blue Jay QAD TR/X migration assessment, Future state process & configuration design, Data mapping & migration validation, Functional test scripts & UAT support ,Go live readiness and hypercare support
Additional information:
1. Migration & Transformation: Lead end to end migration from Blue Jay TMS to QAD TR/X TMS, Perform current state assessment of Blue Jay configurations, workflows, and integrations, Define future state design aligned to QAD TR/X best practices, Identify gaps and recommend process or configuration changes
2. Functional Configuration (QAD TR/X TMS),Configure QAD TR/X modules including: Transportation planning & execution, Carrier management & contracts, Freight rating & costing, Shipment visibility & tracking, Freight audit & settlement ,Ensure configuration supports regional and global transportation needs
3. Data Migration: Define data migration strategy and mapping: Carriers, lanes, rates, Locations, zones, modes, Shipment history (as required),Support data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation, Coordinate mock migrations and production cutover
4. Integrations: Support integration design and validation with: ERP systems (QAD ERP, SAP, Oracle, etc.),WMS systems, Carrier EDI / API connections, Work closely with technical teams handling middleware (MuleSoft, PI/PO, Boomi, etc.)
5. Testing & Deployment: Lead functional testing activities: Unit testing, SIT, UAT support, Resolve defects and configuration issues, Support go live and hypercare activities
6. Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as functional SME for transportation: Work closely with: Client logistics & supply chain teams, QAD product teams (if required),System integrators (e.g., Cognizant),Provide regular status updates and risk management
7. Documentation & Enablement: Create functional design documents (FDD):Prepare migration playbooks and cutover plans: Support user training and knowledge transfer, Project Code :
