Part-time X-ray Technician - Los Angeles, El Monte, & Huntington Park, CA
Compensation: $40 - $45 per hour DOE

Once or twice a month on a weekday for Huntington Park and El Monte.
Saturdays are available only at the Los Angeles location.
Overview: Nexus HR is looking for a skilled X-Ray Technician to join a patient-centered medical team. This role requires travel between our three locations in Los Angeles, El Monte, and Huntington Park.

The position includes X-ray Technician responsibilities such as performing diagnostic imaging procedures as ordered, properly positioning patients to ensure high-quality images, adhering to radiation safety protocols, maintaining imaging equipment, verifying patient information, documenting procedures accurately, and supporting providers while ensuring patient comfort throughout the process. This role involves rotating across multiple clinic locations in Los Angeles, El Monte, and Huntington Park, with a focus on serving underserved communities. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging following physician orders and established protocols.
Properly position patients and operate equipment to capture accurate, high-quality images.
Explain procedures and provide a reassuring environment for patients.
Ensure safety measures are followed to minimize radiation exposure.
Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment regularly.
Accurately document imaging procedures and upload results to the electronic medical record (EMR).
Assist with patient flow and general clinical duties as needed.
Uphold HIPAA and OSHA compliance standards.
Deliver excellent customer service in both English and Spanish, ensuring clear patient communication.
Support clinical leadership during CDPH (California Department of Public Health) audits and health plan audits by providing required documentation and ensuring compliance with imaging-related regulations.
Qualifications :
Minimum 5 years of experience as an X-ray Technician
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Valid and unrestricted California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license
Skilled in operating X-ray equipment in an outpatient or clinic setting
Excellent patient service, communication, and team collaboration skills
Strong understanding of radiation safety, positioning, and clinical protocols
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and PACS
Willing to work in underserved areas
Bilingual in Spanish and English.
