Kiddie Academy has an opening for a dynamic, caring and flexible person to join us as a Preschool Teacher. This is a vital position requiring a positive attitude, creativity, collaboration, and most of all the versatility to work in any of our classrooms with children ranging from 6-weeks through school age. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
• Teach physical education activities that encourage movement and coordination among preschoolers.
• Provide attentive toddler care, ensuring the safety and well-being of each child.
• Educate children using various teaching methods, including Montessori techniques, to cater to diverse learning styles.
• Conduct standardized testing as required to assess children's progress and development.
• Offers support to children needing additional assistance in specific areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance curriculum delivery and share best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience in preschool teaching or daycare settings is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and educational best practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs of preschool-aged children.
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young learners.
• Certification in First Aid/CPR is preferred but not mandatory.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds and sit/stand for periods of time.
