Job Description



Are you mechanically inclined with a strong attention to detail and a drive for quality? Join Avery Dennison as a Printing Press Operator! In this hands-on role, you will perform setups, operations, and maintenance on custom flexographic printing presses, ensuring precise print registration, shade matching, and die-cutting.

Shift: 2nd Shift, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Monday – Friday (Position may require rotation; overtime availability requested)

What You Will Do:

  • Perform standard and moderately complex flexographic press setups, operations, and preventative maintenance.

  • Interpret order specifications, troubleshoot equipment, and maintain strict quality standards.

  • Safely operate turret and fanfold equipment.

  • Support press operations by preparing materials, mounting plates, and staging setup tools.

  • Inspect finished products, pack/label goods per specifications, and maintain a clean, safe 5S work environment.

  • Collaborate with shift team members and participate in continuous improvement and safety initiatives.

Qualifications



What We Look For in You:

  • High School Diploma/GED OR 3+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.

  • Previous manufacturing or printing press experience preferred.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and commitment to SOP adherence.

  • A safety-first mindset and dedication to delivering high-quality work.

  • Proficiency with basic computer applications.

  • Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed.
