Responsibilities as a Refrigeration Appliance Repair Technician:

As a Refrigeration Appliance Repair Technician, you play a key role in providing excellent customer service by delivering high-quality maintenance and repair services for home appliances.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Diagnosing and repairing home appliances and refrigeration equipment.
  • Providing accurate cost estimates for repairs.
  • Effectively communicating with customers about the services needed.
  • Ordering parts and ensuring efficient use of company materials.
  • Collecting payment for completed work.

  • Exceptional Customer Service: You'll be the face of the company, providing a great experience and showing empathy toward customers while solving their appliance issues.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: You wont just diagnose the issue you'll help customers understand what needs to be done and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Quality of Work: Critical thinking and technical skills are essential to ensuring repairs are done right the first time.
  • Efficiency: To serve multiple customers daily, you'll need to manage time effectively and complete repairs quickly.
  • Punctuality & Reliability: Customers depend on you, so showing up on time and being available is crucial.
  • Attention to Detail: Keeping your work vehicle clean and organized, along with accurately completing reports, is important.
  • Ongoing Learning: As appliances evolve, you should be eager to research and take advantage of training opportunities to stay up to date.

Job Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record
  • EPA certification is a required

Previous experience (one year or more) in appliance repair is a plus!

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Pay: $60,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience, plus bonuses and commissions.
