JOB SUMMARY:
MUST BE LOCATED IN ARIZONA Hours: Monday-Friday evenings (approximately 4:00pm-10:00pm)A Medical Transcriptionist is responsible for listening to the dictation of voice recordings from medical providers and typing the recordings into the laboratory information system in a timely manner. These dictations will become a permanent patient record and may include specimen gross description, specimen microscopic description, and pathologist diagnosis. Transcription duties may also include any general purpose correspondence such as pathology consultation letters. Transcription is also responsible for auditing patient demographic information and making any necessary corrections.
This position is primarily an off-site location or work-from-home position.
Employees are responsible for following all Company policies and procedures. These policies and procedures will include adherence to CPD’s Work at Home Policy and regulatory standards such HIPAA, CAP and OSHA, including safety standards in performing all aspects of the functions below.

High school diploma or equivalent
Level I: less than 3 years of relevant work experience
Level II: 4-7 years of relevant work experience
Level III: 8+ years of relevant work experience
