Job Summary:
We are seeking a Radiology Technician to join an orthopedic practice serving multiple locations. This role is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging, assisting physicians with patient care, operating radiology equipment, and ensuring compliance with radiation safety standards. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a collaborative clinical environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for radiological procedures and obtain high-quality diagnostic X-rays.
Operate CR X-ray equipment and C-Arm during procedures as needed.
Follow radiation safety protocols and ALARA standards to protect patients and staff.
Collaborate closely with physicians and physician assistants to support patient care.
Maintain radiology equipment and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
Stock and organize radiology rooms and supplies.
Train and mentor new employees and students on imaging procedures and equipment.
Assist with patient intake, suture and staple removal, and preparing injections as needed.
Apply and remove casts, splints, and orthopedic braces following training.
Maintain accurate documentation and support efficient daily clinic operations.
Qualifications:
License:
Experience in diagnostic radiology; orthopedic experience preferred.
Proficiency in operating CR X-ray equipment and C-Arm.
Strong understanding of radiation safety and ALARA standards.
Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
Authorized to work in the United States.
