TERMS OF REFERENCE

The purpose of this assignment is to support the development of a global nutrition monitoring guide to strengthen countries’ nutrition information systems.

Minimum requirements:

  • Education: Masters’s Degree in Nutrition, Epidemiology, Public Health, Monitoring and Evaluation, Health Information Systems, Data Science, or a relevant field.
  • Work Experience:
    • At least 8 years of professional work experience related to nutrition programming, monitoring, and administrative data for nutrition or related technical fields;
    • Previous experience in the development of guidance and related indicator materials pertaining to monitoring;
    • Experience working with and consulting country counterparts including national governments.
  • Language requirement:
    • Fluency in English is required;
    • Knowledge of one other UN working language is an advantage.

•     Skills:

•     Ability to take initiative and work independently;

•     Excellent communication and writing skills;

•     Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills;

•     Experience coordinating multiple partners.

Desirables:

  • Previous experience in delivering presentations to country counterparts would be an asset.
