Job Description

A Remote Scheduler for a plastics manufacturing or packaging company coordinates production schedules deliveries meetings shipments and employee appointments to support daily operations. The scheduler works remotely with production teams warehouse staff logistics departments vendors and management to ensure efficient planning and timely completion of tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage production and delivery schedules
• Coordinate shipping receiving and transportation timelines
• Schedule meetings appointments and service calls
• Communicate scheduling updates to production warehouse and management teams
• Monitor deadlines and adjust schedules when necessary
• Maintain accurate scheduling records and reports
• Enter and update scheduling data in company systems
• Coordinate with suppliers carriers and customers regarding delivery times
• Assist with inventory planning and operational support
• Respond to scheduling conflicts and production changes

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Good communication and customer service abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Google Workspace and scheduling software
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Reliable internet connection and computer equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous scheduling logistics administrative or operations experience
• Experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments
• Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
