Online immigration website is looking for a funny and charismatic host to be the face of our social media channels, voice of some animation, and the moderator of our live weekly webinars. Must have experience posting regularly to multiple platforms, be comfortable speaking directly to the camera, and moderating our weekly webinars. Knowledge of immigration procedures and changes in the policy are a plus, but not mandatory. Personal experience immigrating to the US or within one’s family is also a plus, but not mandatory.
Office location: Gehi and Associates, 74-09, 37th avenue, JAckson heights, NY, 11372.
10-15 hrs/week
Remote/ on-site once a week for 2-4 hours
$20 - 25/hr.
Responsibilities include:
-Communicating with the marketing team to discuss weekly editorial decisions and collaborate on content strategy.
-Follow latest trends to apply to videos and channels, sometimes jumping on trends as they happen.
-Knowing company voice, and understanding the line between comedy and appropriateness in a professional channel’s voice.
-Making 3-5 videos a week, sometimes needing to act with short notice for breaking news and popular trends.
You are:
-Outgoing and charismatic with natural ability to look into the camera and engage a diverse audience.
-Someone with comedic timing and a good sense of humor.
-Proficient English speaker; with an accent is okay, but must be clear.
-Punctual and responsible when it comes to meeting deadlines and making quotas
-Understand social media aesthetics and can make content with good lighting and sound.
