Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and versatile Production Support / General Laborers to assist across multiple areas of our manufacturing operation, including the Woodshop, Blasting, and Paint departments . This role plays a critical part in maintaining production flow, supporting skilled operations, and ensuring finished products meet quality and safety standards. Ideal candidates are hands-on, adaptable, and eager to learn multiple facets of the production process.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Support & Coverage
• Rotate between the Woodshop, Blasting, and Paint areas based on daily production priorities to prevent bottlenecks and maintain steady workflow throughout the facility.
• Surface Preparation
• Perform abrasive blasting to remove rust, coatings, and surface contaminants, ensuring materials are properly prepared for painting, staining, or finishing.
• Woodworking & Assembly
• Operate table saws, miter saws, routers, sanders, and other woodworking equipment to cut, shape, and finish components according to blueprints and cut lists. Assist with assembly of finished wood products as needed.
• Finishing & Coating Application
• Apply primers, stains, sealers, and topcoats using HVLP and airless spray systems, producing consistent, high-quality finishes that meet visual and functional specifications.
• Quality Control
• Inspect in-process and finished parts to ensure workmanship meets company quality standards. Identify defects or inconsistencies and communicate issues to leadership.
• Equipment & Facility Maintenance
• Clean and maintain spray guns, sandblasting equipment, and woodshop machinery. Perform basic preventative maintenance to keep tools and equipment in reliable working condition.
• Safety & Workplace Organization
• Follow all OSHA and facility safety guidelines, including proper use of PPE and respirators. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace in accordance with 5S standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Core Skills

• Production support experience
• Hand and power tool operation
• General construction or manufacturing experience.

Equipment Experience

• Industrial spray equipment (HVLP, airless)
• Sandblasting equipment
• Table saws, miter saws, routers, sanders, planers
• Pneumatic nailers

Technical Skills

• Finishing processes including staining, sealing, masking, lacquering, and basic color matching
• Understanding of wood grain characteristics, surface prep requirements, and chemical mixing ratios
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, cut lists, and work orders

Soft Skills & Physical Requirements

• Adaptable and flexible; able to shift tasks mid‑day based on production needs
• Strong attention to detail for measuring, cutting, finishing, and inspection
• Problem-solving mindset to address material or equipment issues
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments, including dusty or temperature‑variable areas

Experience Level

• Entry Level
• Previous manufacturing, construction, woodworking, or finishing experience is helpful but not required
• On‑the‑job training provided for motivated candidates looking to build hands‑on skills

This is a Permanent position based out of Bardstown, KY.

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $45760.00/yr.

- Retirement - Dental, Vision, Health - PTO

This is a fully onsite position in Bardstown,KY.

This position is anticipated to close on Mar 31, 2026.
